Pre-civil Registration Deaths—
Data CD (from Gould & available at some libraries) with online index.



 SA Deaths 1917–1972
Data CD (purchasable from Gould & available at some libraries)
Search personal columns of Advertiser—State Library of SA [SLSA] or SA Genealogy & Heraldry Society [SAGHS]

SAGHS Newspaper Deaths Index—full version only available on SAGHS computers but a name listing available online.

[Note: This index is being extended back towards 1972 and some isolated months already available.]

SA Probate Index—can be viewed at Probate Registry, SLSA, SAGHS (will only produce a result if deceased had a proven Will or Admons)

LTO Index of Land Owners and Certificate of Title Register—can only be viewed at LTO (will only produce a result if deceased owned property at time of death)

SAGHS Cemetery Index—only available on SAGHS computers.

Metropolitan cemetery records held by: Centennial Park (online), Cheltenham, Enfield, Magill (St George), North Brighton, North Road, Payneham, Walkerville (St Andrew), West Terrace, (Not on the SAGHS computers)

Local Government Cemeteries (online)
